The ‘City of Victory’, Fatehpur Sikri, is situated about 40 km away from Agra; the city was founded by Emperor Akbar as the capital of Mughal Empire, serving this role from 1571 to 1585. Clothed in layers of legend and folklore, Fatehpur Sikri, is an architectural marvel of medieval India which showcases a blend of Islamic, Hindu and Jain-style architecture. 

Come and join us on this journey back in time to explore Fatehpur Sikri’s historical importance. This heritage walk will allow you to explore the mysteries of this monumental complex which ‘represents a splendid achievement of planning, design, craftsmanship and good taste’—a place that projects Akbar’s image as an ‘absolute ruler’ of the Mughal Dynasty.
