Re-visiting the Past & Making New Memories at Old Nashik

About the walk

The walk narrative starts at the early hours of the day when the city is just waking up; the walk gradually catches its pace with the city and its people. Starting at the famous Sundar Narayan Mandir, we start with the stories which revolve around culture, history, art, architecture, people and life style of people in the core area of Old Nashik. This would be followed by walking into the narrow but beautiful old lanes of Nashik, where one can still feel the air of the serene and contented life style, the beauty of simplicity and the peaceful aura of the true essence of old city. The walk will focus on different temples, ghats, wadas and also their relevance and the context like river Godavari and its importance. Experiences varying from dense and core areas to ghats, temples and delicious eat-outs will be a bouquet of experiences. At every stage various colors, smells, sounds, and tastes create amazing experiences, and these experiences will mark memories for lifetime. This heritage walk is a big pool of information enjoyed by all age groups and people from various backgrounds.
